Membership Eligibility

Uttarayani is a voluntary membership based organisation. Natives of Uttarakhand in the following categories, as pre criteria invogue at present, are eligible to become members of the Society :

  • Class 1 Officers in Civil Services, Defence, Para Military and Police – working in or superannuated from the Central Government
  • Class 1 Officers of equivalent dispensation in the State Civil Services and State Police working in or superannuated from the services of the State of Uttarakhand
  • Officers of equivalent dispensation in the Public Sector Undertakings – Serving or Superannuated.




Membership TYPES

Uttarayani has two classes of Membership :

  • Primary Members are temporary members whose membership remains valid as long as the members pay their annual membership subscription as per Rules of the Society.
  • Life Members are permanent members either enrolled directly as Life Member or upgraded from a Primary Member to Life Member.

It may be noted that all the present members of Uttarayani are Life Members. The fee structure for Primary and Life Members is given in the Rules and Regulations of the Society.

The fee structure for different membership types, as ammended from time to time, is given in the MoA.

 

How to apply for membership

Natives of the state of Uttarakhand who fulfil the above eligibility criteria can apply for membership in one of the following ways:



Fee Payment & Donations

1. Please fill up the membership form online or download the from and fill in your details.

2. "The Membership fee of Rs. 3000/- (For Single) Rs. 4500/- (with Spouse) including annual subscription can be paid by Account Payee Cheque in favour of "UTTARAYANI" .
OR
the fee can also be remitted by transfer via NEFT or RTGS to the Bank Account with following details :
