Governing Body (Executive Committee of Uttarayani shall call for meetings of the Executive
Committee and the General Body.
- Executive Committee Meeting. Executive Committee is responsible for running the day-to-day affairs of the Society. EC is also responsible for the conduct and coordination of various programmes undertaken by the Society. EC meeting shall be conducted on a monthly basis and record of Minutes of the Meetings shall be maintained. The Minutes shall be uploaded on the Uttarayani Website for all members to be updated on the activities of the Society.
- General Body Meeting. EC will be responsible to call for the meeting of the General Body of the Society. Apart from the Annual General Body Meeting of the Society, the meeting of the General Body shall be called as often as feasible and preferably every quarter. Elections for electing the Members of the EC shall also be conducted by the General Body as per procedures laid down in te Rules and Regulations of the Society.
- Special Meetings. In addition to the routine meetings of the EC and the General Body, Special Meetings of the EC and the General Body can also be called for by the EC to discuss issues of specific and urgent nature.
